My final week in Des Moines... I always go to Lucky Dragon for Vietnamese food... Hearing T and T was not too bad... So came and give it a try before I leave Des Moines... hmm.. ordered pho... well.. not too bad... but I just feel that they had a big bowl of soup.. and the beef in it.. was not as good as Lucky Dragon.. without comparing.. even if I haven't been to Lucky Dragon.. I would not like the beef they had.. they steam the bean sprout and it was kinda disgusting... It was a simple meal so I will not be too harsh on it..

Our friends brought us to this smaller-restaurant yesterday. It's something you wouldn't just notice. They had a large table for the 8 of us, plus 2 babies. We all ordered, and got our food rather promptly. Several ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, I ordered the Basil & Beef, and a friend ordered the Egg Roll Vermicelli. No one had complaints, and it was all delicious! The avocado shake was also very tasty and doesn't taste avocado-y. My only complaint was that I was too adventurous and tried the Durian fruit shake, expecting something sweet. It tasted like garlic...in a shake. It's one thing I won't get again. But the service, large menu selection, and delicious food & affordable prices were fantastic!

The Vietnamese is pretty authentic here. Their pho is very filling and they season their meats separately also. I like the family atmosphere here. Their rice dishes are Americanized but still good. Bubble tea is best I've found in Des Moines.

I go here for Pho Tai quite a bit. I've tried the pho at other restaurants around town, but TNT is my favorite with no close runner-up. The condiments are always very fresh, and they will give you extra if you ask for it. The service is always very friendly, and the restaurant is very clean.

Went to this restaurant this weekend and ordered the pho T&T. It was just mediocre, nothing outstanding. You can just see the grease floating at the top that's just never really appetizing... I also had an order of crab rangoons as an appetizer, that really wasn't great at all. All I tasted was the fried wonton and the filling had no flavor. The menu was real nice. It was a red hard cover. I did catch a mispelling in there but I think you'll figure out it's suppose to say pork instead of ponk... The waitress was quiet but efficient, I expect that now at these kind of Asian restaurants. I want to come back though to try out the Hot Pot that sounds like an interesting thing. I usually give places more than one try so I'll most likely be back.

Stopped here for lunch with the family. I ordered the rice dish with Rotisserie Quail. Flavor was very good. It's a sweet and salty sauce or marinade. I would definitely order it again next time. My son wanted a boba drink. He got the strawberry with whip cream. Tasted really good. Not too sweet or too icy. Service is ok. But that's what you would expect at these places.

Hubby, baby, and I came to eat here for a late lunch today. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff (which seemed like the kids of the family) were very courteous. The only bad thing I have to say about the service was that once they got busy, they forgot to come and check to see if we needed refills on our water. The Food: Beef Lad Na (4/5) Pho (4/5) Fried Quail (5/5) **do NOT add the nuoc mam (fish sauce with pink label and crabs on it) that's on the table for condiments. It's not the regular three crabs fish sauce. Their pho broth was good without it, but I'm used to adding just a Lil more fish sauce when I flavor my pho and when I added that fish sauce on the table it made the pho not appetizing to the point that I had to stop eating it after one bite. The pho itself is GOOD. Just add any other condiment but that fish sauce. Lad na was tasty and flavorful. No complaints there The fried quail was excellent and my Vietnamese hubby said it tasted like it should taste. It came with a side of sauce and broth. All in all, we will definitely come again.

I haven't tried a lot of the pho places in Des moines, but I have tried a lot of pho. This place is pretty good. I always enjoy the food. Recently they have implemented new menus that contain many pictures of the food items, which is helpful for me since I usually don't know what half of the stuff on the menu actually is. I have been slowly trekking my way through their menu and exploring. FYI to the pho newbies: If you order a pho that says it has gristly meat on the menu, don't complain when gristly meat shows up.

best pho that I've ever had! unlike most restaurants, this place uses NO MSG, and the soup is not as salty, yet very rich in the natural beef flavor! the seafood hotpot is excerllent too! very fresh and the noodle in the end is amazing because of the rich broth and seafood highly recommend!

Ate here a couple of times and did not have any issues. They have good pho and tasty appetizers. The parking is easy here since they share their lot with Hy-Vee, which is huge. Their staff is friendly here and gets your food out quick. It was never too busy when I came, so it was a good experience. I would probably come back here if I am in the area, but I would not travel out here just to eat here.

The best pho in the Des Moines metro area. Great cooking, and personable, prompt, pleasant service too.TNT has been a favorite restaurant for me for the past several years.

Has a good sized menu, the food will depend on your preference. I am not a huge fan of the pho, it is a little on the greasy side. This could be a plus if you like that kind of flavor, I do not so wouldn't get it again. Not a bad place, check it out and see for your self.
